Box Score Morrisville, NY- The Bryn Athyn Lions swept SUNY Cobleskill 3-0 to finish out NEAC pool play at Morrisville State.
The Lions were right back in action on Sunday morning playing SUNY Cobleskill looking to get back on track from the previous losses on Saturday. The Lions delivered with a strong outing, taking all three matches in convincing fashion. The Lions dominated both sides of the net winning the 3 games 25-22, 25-17 and 25-10.
The Lions were led by Taylor Davis with 13 kills and Amber Woods with 9 kills. Abi Anderson was great on the service side with 4 service aces. When SUNY Cobleskill was able to generate some offense, he Lions were led defensively by Alexa Kennedy with 9 digs and Kelsey Kowalick with 9 digs as well.
The win brings the Lions to 7-4 overall and 2-1in the conference. The Lions are back in action as they host Gallaudet in NEAC match at Asplundh Field House on Friday September 25th at 7:30 pm.
