How It Happened:

After the first set victory (25-17) over Penn State Brandywine, Bryn Athyn College could not repeat the success in the remaining sets as the Nittany Lions cruised in the second set (25-15) and third set (25-21). In the fourth set, the Lions fell behind by as many as ten points (23-13) before a kill, two errors from the Nittany Lions, and an ace brought the home team closer to the competition, 17-23. Unfortunately a Lions error and a Nittany Lions kill secured the 3-1 victory in favor of the visiting team.  

Lions' Top Performers

   * Amber Wood and Alexis Juritsch led the Lions offense with 11 and eight kills respectively..

   * Catherine Kirk dished out team high 29 assists.

   * Sam Hicks paced the defense with game high 26 digs and Juritsch was behind her with 10 digs.

Nittany Lion's Top Performers:  

   * Halee Kusner and Nikki Poissant finished with game high 12 kills each.

   * Sullivan Stark dished out game high 34 assists.

   * Poissant, Becca Civera, and Emily Battista paced the Nittany Lion's defense with 20, 11, 10 digs respectively.

Stats of the Game: 

   * Lions finished with 33 kills, 32 assists, and 58 digs.

   * Nittany Lions finished with 44 kills, 40 assists, and 62 digs.
