How It Happened:

In the first set, Bryn Athyn College proved to be too much for College of St.Elizabeth as the Lions drastically build their leads to double digits and cruised to a 25-11 first set victory. In the second and third set, the Eagles and the Lions battled back and forth as the former won the second set, 25-21 while the latter took the third set into extra plays needing additional points to determine the winner. The Lions eventually dethroned the Eagles in the third set, 28-26, and took a 2-1 lead. In the fourth set, the Eagles won 25-19 which forced a decisive fifth set. In the final outing, the Lions fell behind early and could not recover to a 15-7 set and 3-2 match defeat to the Eagles.

Lions' Top Performers

   * Taylor Davis and Hannah Dewees led the Lions offense with 14 and eight kills respectively..

   * Catherine Kirk dished out team high 26 assists.

   * Sam Hicks paced the defense with team high 16 digs. Dewees and Alexis Juritsch followed up with 14 and 10 digs respectively. 

Eagles' Top Performers:  

   * Yasmin'Na Muhammad and Kiana Cunningham finished with 18 and 11 kills respectively.

   * Nicole Morera dished out game high 40 assists.

   * Stephanie Mitarotond paced the Eagles' defense with game high 27 digs.

Stats of the Game: 

   * Lions finished with 35 kills, 28 assists, and 53 digs.

   * Eagles finished with 52 kills, 47 assists, and 60 digs.
