How It Happened:

First two sets of today's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) cross-over saw a back and forth battle between Bryn Athyn College and Cazenovia College. In the first set, the Lions got off to an early 3-0 lead. The Wildcats battled back and took their only lead of the game, 13-12. From there, the Lions went on a 13-7 run to win the first set 25-20. In the second set, the Wildcats rallied a come-back to a 23-23 tied, but it was Taylor Davis who earned two kills to seal the deal in the second set. From there, momentum continued in the third set as the Lions were set on cruise control to a 25-15 set and match victory. 

Lions' Top Performers

   * Davis and Hannah Dewees paced the offense with game high eight kills each..

   * Catherine Kirk recorded team high 20 assists.

   * Same Hicks paced the defense with game high 17 digs while Dewees added 10. 

Wildcats' Top Performers:  

   * Kassondra Kreppein finished with game high eight kills.

   * Allison Lowery dished out 18 assists.

   * Mary Machugh paced the Wildcat's defense with 11 digs.

   * Lions totaled 32 kills, 26 assists, and 40 digs.

   * Wildcats totaled 26 kills, 24 assists, and 43 digs.

Women's Volleyball continues their NEAC schedule tomorrow, Sunday September 17, for a 10:00 a.m crossover match versus Wells College. The Lions will also play later at 2:00 p.m. against Keuka College.
