How It Happened:

In the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Crossover at Penn State Abington campus, Bryn Athyn College challenged Morrisville State College and dropped a 0-3 decision to the Mustangs. In the first set of the match, the Lions fell behind 7-25. The second set was an improvement from the first, but the Mustang still prevailed from the Lions attack, 18-25. With one last chance to get back in the competition, the Lions were close against the Mustangs and once again came up empty handed in the 20-25 third set final.  

Lions' Top Performers

   * Alexis Juritsch and Hannah Dewees finished with three kills each on offense.

   * Catherine Kirk dished out team high 10 assists.

   * Sam Hicks paced the defense with team high 13 digs. 

   * Along with two solo blocks for Taylor Davis and Michelle Walls, the former finished with two assists blocks while the latter also had one assist block.

Mustang's' Top Performers:  

   * Megyan Merrill finished with game high six kills.

   * Kimberly Dunkleman dished out game high 11 assists and Helena Hanes had 10.

   * Samantha Wolf led the Mustang's defense with game high 17 digs.

   * Lions totaled 10 kills, 10 assists, and 32 digs.

   * Mustangs totaled 29 kills, 23 assists, and 33 digs.

How It Happened:

After a set back to Morrisville State College earlier in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover at PSU Abington, Bryn Athyn College faced SUNY Cobleskill and proved to be the stronger team in the 3-0 victory. The Lions used a balanced team effort to dethrone the Tigers as three players finished with five kills each. The Tigers had no answer in the three sets as 25-21, 25-16, 25-14 decisions all favored the Lions. 

Lions' Top Performers

   * Alexis Juritsch, Hannah Dewees, and Amber Wood finished with five kills each on offense.

   * Catherine Kirk had team high 10 assists.

   * Sam Hicks paced the defense with game high 18 digs. 

Tiger's Top Performers:  

   * Brittany Boyce finished with game high six kills.

   * Mackenzie Holbert dished out game high 16 assists.

   * Gabby Clark led the Tiger's defense with 13 digs.
