Box Score

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's soccer team opened its four-match homestand with a 3-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) loss to Lancaster Bible College Saturday night on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

Rachel Kumher broke the scoreless deadlock 10:40 as she stepped around a Bryn Athyn defender at the top of the penalty area and shot the ball into the upper left corner of the net.

The match remained 1-0 until the 53:06 when Kumher struck again to make the score 2-0. Rachel Horst delivered a pass up the right sideline. After getting the pass, Kumher cut in and put her shot into the right post.

Just over two minutes later, Raegan Horst sprinted straight through the Bryn Athyn defense after receiving a through ball from Kate Speizio and scored Lancaster Bible's third goal.

In net, Bryn Athyn's Allie Warren stopped nine shots. The Chargers' Kendra Brown didn't make a save.

Bryn Athyn (7-4-0, 3-3-0 NEAC) continues its homestand on Wednesday, Oct. 18 against the College of Saint Elizabeth at 6 p.m.
