HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Bryn Athyn College women's soccer team had its 2019 season come to an end after a 5-1 loss to Centenary (N.J.) in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match Thursday afternoon.

Bryn Athyn entered play still in contention for the final spot in the CSAC Tournament. The loss, combined with a Rosemont 1-0 win over Notre Dame (Md.), means the Lions will barely miss out on the postseason and conclude 2019 with a 4-7-3 overall record and a 3-4-2 record against the CSAC.

The Lions got on the board when Maggie McCabe scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season with 8:54 left in the contest. McCabe's seven goals tie her with Shelby Puccio and teammate Ashley Rivera for the second-most goals scored by a freshman in a season. Tori Titano, who assisted on the McCabe goal, holds the record with 10 goals in her freshman year.

Centenary (8-7-1, 8-1-0 CSAC) broke through late in the first half on an Amanda Lebelt goal.

The Cyclones tacked on four straight goals in the second half to increase their lead to 5-0. Stephanie Williams scored Centenary's second and third goals in the opening 9:03 of the half. Jill Pullis made it 4-0 at 75:53 and was followed up by a Chloe Christopher goal 2:23 later.

Allie Warren made eight saves in 78:16 of action and Lyss Bosler closed out the match by making three stops. Centenary's Chelsea Estacio recorded three saves.
