Men's lacrosse fall in CSAC semifinal

GALLOWAY N.J. - It was déjà vu  for men's lacrosse. After traveling to Stockton on Wednesday for the final regular season game, the Lions traveled back across to bridge to take on the number one seeded Ospreys. The Lions result was similiar as the first and dropped the playoff game 29-2.

  • Stockton led the entire game from start to finish scoring 29 goals in the four periods. 
  • Jamal White got the Lions on the board with two goals in the second half. He netted his first one off an assist from Mike Perkett with 8:30 left in the third period. White scored his second goal 20 seconds into the fourth period.

  • The Lions say goodbye to eight seniors: Michael Varley, Mike Haas, Mike Perkett, Matt Traber, Jarrett Shapcott, Justin Rallo, and Dan Condon. This senior class made conference playoffs in all three full seasons of participation. 
  • Mike Haas, Joe Nugent, and Tim Ragan all had double digit point seasons with Haas logging 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists), Nugent tallying 11 points (10 goals, 1 assist), and Ragan adding 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists)
  • Justin Rallo answered the bell of playing goalie when the team needed him for the first time in his college career and made 89 saves and .454 save percentage.

Bryn Athyn will head into the offseason looking to continue to build on the success and foundation that Coach Crawford and the program have laid down.
