Coach's Corner
"We are growing and learning. I do not think there is another team in the league that has had more close games than us. Unfortunately, we have been on the short end of a good bit of them," Coach Sean Westerlund said. "We are young and we compete. We have had eight single digit losses, four within two possessions, and two more losses in overtime. The process can be unforgiving at times, but I love how we consistently compete together. We outrebounded the best rebounding team in the league, and we did a better job protecting the ball...all things that point to our improvement. Credit to Cairn on winning a tough league game."

Notes
  • Lions have outrebounded their opponent for the third time in fourth games (44-33)
  • With 26 points, Orr Jr. is now the third leading scorer in conference play in the CSAC (18.1).
  • Lions shot 80% from the free throw line (16-20)
