How it happened
- The majority of the game was slow, meticulous and dragged out.
- Bryn Athyn set the tone with its zone defense. McDaniel ended many of its possessions with difficult shots or shot clock violations.
- The pace picked up when the Lions hit their shots, forcing the Green Terror into pressure situations they could not escape from.
- Bryn Athyn went into the half up 34-22.
- The home team opened the second half strong as well, going up as much as 15 at one point.
- McDaniel crept back into the game with good paint touches.
- A long three-pointer by Noah Riley put the Lions up 56-43 with 7:52 to go, all but closing the game.
- However, the Green Terror went on a 14-4 run soon after to keep the door open.
- Cannady Jr. closed that door with a jumper and two free throws, propelling the Lions to a 66-57 victory
