Men's basketball stays hot with sweep of Clarks Summit

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. - Men's basketball went on the road in a must win situation to keep their playoff hopes alive and knocked off Clarks Summit 96-79.

  • Lions would go on a 14-4 run from 15:29 to 9:00 minute mark...Cannady Jr. was responsible for 7 of the 14 pointa
  • A three pointer from Noah Riley gave the Lions their largest lead of the first half bringing the score to 49-25 with 3:24 remaining
  • Bryn Athyn would take a 54-34 lead into the break
  • Coming out of break, the Lions would keep the pedal on the metal growing their lead to 34 points (81-47) with 11:43 remaining
  • Bryn Athyn would stay in cruise control for the remainder of the game and pull out a 96-79 win
Coach's Corner
"This game was about process. We have been emphasizing process from day one and our guys are realizing who we've been, what we are, and who we can be," Coach Sean Westerlund said. "We have two conference sweeps for the first time in program history. We are doing some amazing things on the offensive end of the floor. We need to clean up the ball security, but a lot to be proud of. Anthony Burr and Noah Riley are stepping up in a big way. We will continue to hunt together."
