BRYN ATHYN, PA. - The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team welcomed a perennial CSAC power in Notre Dame to Asplundh Field House and pulled out a big 54-52 win.

- Notre Dame started the game hot against the Lions opening the game on an 8-2 run.Â
- Coach Travis Ponton called a timeout and the Lady Lions settled in and played even basketball the rest of the frame and went into the second quarter down 17-9.
- It was a tale of two sides in the second quarter and Bryn Athyn jumped on the visiting Gators outscoring them 19-7 thanks to their pressure and stifling zone defense
- At half, the Lions led 28-24
- Bryn Athyn continued build on their lead in the third quarter adding 5 points to their lead
- The Lions had a frantic final quarter with Notre Dame making a furious comeback.Â
- Bryn Athyn was able to get a big stop in the final seconds to secure the two point win, 54-52.
