BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Bryn Athyn Women's basketball led for nearly the entire game before a furious come back from Cedar Crest allowed the road team to steal a game against the host Lions 57-54.

How it happened

• Lions started fast with a 6-0 run off of layups from the trio of Lewis, Mitchem, and Norma Thornhill
• Cedar Crest would cut the Lions lead to 2 points (12-10) before the Lions would score with 14 seconds left to close the quarter with a 14-10 lead
• Lions would dominate the second quarter winning the frame by 8 points
• Bryn Athyn would quick build a 20-10 lead in the first three minutes of the second quarter. 
• Lions would maintain and stretch their lead to as big as 14 before heading into break up by 12, 29-17 at half
• Cedar Crest would cut the halftime lead to 5 points on two different occassions in the third quarter, but the Lions would maintain the double digit lead by the end of the frame with a 45-34 lead
• The Falcons would build off a strong third quarter to take their first lead of the game (55-53) with 2:01 left in the game 
• Alexis Mitchem would cut the lead to 1, but Cedar Crest would seal the game with a layup to secure a 57-54 road win

• Prior to the game, Bryn Athyn honored senior Alexis Mitchem for her career in a Bryn Athyn uniform
• Lions won the turnover battle 19-13
• Lions went cold in the fourth shooting 15.7%
