BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The Bryn Athyn College Men's lacrosse team rallied late, but fell 13-10 to visiting Bethany (WV)

How it happened

• Bethany was the first to strike scoring consecutive midway through the first quarter to build a 2-0 lead with 7:14 left
• White answered for Bryn Athyn with 4:14 left to make the game 2-1.
• Bethany closed the quarter with two goals 17 seconds apart to take a 4-1 lead into the next frame
• The Bison picked up where they left off and scored 30 seconds into the second quarter to make the score 5-1
• Ragan would answer the bell off an assist from Owen Ovecka to cut the lead to 3 (5-2)
• The teams would trade goals the rest of the period with Bethany adding one more goal to their lead and have an 8-4 advantage at half
• Mike Haas would get the Lions on the board in the third quarter with a man up goal and the score moved to 8-5
• Bethany answered back with three goals to build a 11-5 advantage
• Ragan would score his second goal of the game to finish the scoring for the third frame and Lions were down 11-6
• Bison would score two more early goals in the 4th and take their biggest lead 13-6. 
• Lions would make a late rally scoring 4 straight goals, but was not enough to get the win
