Men's Basketball takes down Immaculata on the road

IMMACULATA, Pa. - The men's basketball team continued its strong start with a great win over Immaculata on Tuesday, 92-77.

Inside the Box Score
  • Will Little once again led the attack with 25 points, including 2 threes and 7 free throws made. 
  • Jalen Parker amassed a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. 
  • Jalen Jackson added 18 points (on an efficient 6-10 shooting), 8 assists and 3 steals.
  • Jakir Hampton made a strong impression with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. 
How it Happened
  • Bryn Athyn got out to a strong 12-4 start thanks to some good pressure that turned the opponent's mistakes into points. 
  • The Lions would continue to control the game for much of the first half, getting up as much as 14 late in the period. 
  • Immaculata got going on the glass though, and closed the gap to tie it at 39-39 going into the halftime break.
  • Bryn Athyn opened the second half with a 10-4 run, which Immaculata then mirrored to tie the game once again. 
  • Only in the guts of the game did the Lions finally pull ahead thanks to some timely buckets from Hampton and Parker. 
  • BAC would end up winning comfortably, 92-77.

  • "We went into a hostile environment and got a really good road win against a well coached team who hangs their hat on their defense. Jalen Parker was a force. Will Little is showing a matured game and he's impacting both ends. I'm really proud of our team." - Head Coach Sean Westerlund.
