- The Lions came alive in the second set to even the match at 1-1, collecting 7 kills on 23% attacking while defensively holding Sarah Lawrence to -7% attacking.
- Sets 3 and 4 would both be closely fought, with Bryn Athyn being able to make enough plays down the stretch to secure 25-23 victories in both sets.

- "Sarah Lawrence tested us well the entire day. They were scrappy defensively and they got their main outside going. We went in with game plans that we didn't execute well in the first match, and we made it much more difficult on ourselves due to that. I really liked seeing that we have the mental toughness to not give up, make corrections, and come back quickly. It shows that this team has a lot of heart and grit." - Head Coach Jason Barshinger.
