BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The men's basketball team continued to write history on Saturday by winning the United East Conference Championship with a win over Notre Dame of Maryland University; 82-69.  

Inside the Box Score

• Jalen Parker was unstoppable on this afternoon, totaling 22 points,13 rebounds, and 4 assists.  
• Jalen Jackson was relentless on his way to 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. 
• Jakir Hampton capped his amazing tournament run by adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. 
• Will Little went out and took a double-double; 13 points and 10 rebounds. 
• Keith Bullock Jr. contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. 
• Isaac Marshall did all the necessary things that don't show up in the box sheet while adding 5 points and 2 rebounds. 

How it Happened

• Notre Dame jumped out to a 8-0 lead early on forcing the Lions into a timeout. 
• Bryn Athyn then with on a 10-0 run and made their presence felt. 
• The visitors responded back by knocking down open shots therefore holding the lead for majority of the half. 
• Bryn Aythn tied the game at 35 with a tough layup by Isaac Marshall with a little under two minutes remaining. 
• At the end of the half Notre Dame held a 1 point lead. 
• The Lions came out of the half roaring and went on a 13-2 run in the first 6 minutes.
• As the half continued; the home team continued to attack the paint and force missed shots on the defensive end. 
• The lions held a game high 18 point lead with a little over 6 minutes remaining. 
• Notre Dame battled back to cut the lead to single digits but the Lions converted late game free throws to keep the game out of reach. 
• With a breakaway monstrous go ahead dunk by Will Little; Bryn went on to win their first conference championship 82-69;

• This is the first Conference Championship in program history
• The Lions extended their record win streak to 15 games and clinched their first 20 win season in program history
• Jakir Hampton named United East Conference Tournament MVP.
