BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The women's lacrosse team maintained its momentum in a matinee match up on Saturday, defeating Kings College 14-8.

Sabrina Brock scored the first goal less than three minutes in, putting the home team on the board for the first time.
After a won draw control by the Lions; Paige Lipp scored a goal within the same minute to put Bryn Athyn up 2-0.
Shea Gormley was the last to score in the first quarter and the first to score in the second.
With a dagger down the middle Kira Bradley gave Bryn Athyn a 5-0 lead with a little over five minutes remaining in the second quarter.
The Monarchs would respond with a 4-0 run to close the quarter and cut the match to a 1 point Bryn Athyn lead before halftime.
Just thirty seconds in the third quarter; Bradley would strike again to make it a 6-4 Bryn Athyn lead.
Kings refused to go away as they scored again just two minutes later.
Gormley, Brock, and Bradley then would go on a 5-0 triple threat run to close the third and open the fourth.
The visitors would continue to fight in the fourth as they were able to score 3 more goals.
