BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The men's lacrosse team hosted Delaware Valley University in a chilly Saturday match up where they were defeated 14-3.  

Inside the Box Score

• Liam Burns knocked in 1 goal with 3 shots on goal and 3 ground balls. 
• Peter DelRossi contributed 1 goal, 1 ground ball, and 1 shot on goal. 
• Nicholas Wittmer also added 1 goal.

How it happened 

• The first quarter seemed even as the visitors didn't score until the end of the first quarter. 
• The lions were able to tie things up right before the buzzer sounded to conclude the quarter. 
• Del Val scored three goals in the second period to Lions' zero. 
• The score at halftime was 4-1; Del Val.
• The visitors turned up the heat in the third; scoring eight more goals and holding the lions to just one goal. 
• The Lions were able to score again in the fourth but not without allowing two more goals by the visitors.
• Del Val went on to win by 11.
