2021-22
Appeared in all 25 games while starting 24. Led the team in scoring with 18.4 points per game. Added 4.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.6 steals. Posted 23 double figure scoring games including back to back 30+ point games against Pratt and Wilson. Cannady Jr. also had a streak of seven games with 20+ points and finished the season scoring 20+ in eight of the last nine. Cannady Jr set freshman program records in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, free throws made, and free throws attempted. He had the second highest single season scoring average and holds the program record for free throws made and attempted in a single season (141-183). Cannady Jr broke the single game free throws attempted record against John Carroll with 24. Cannady Jr was second in the conference in scoring, fifth in assists, and second in steals.Â

2020-21
COVID-19 canceled the traditional season. Appeared in eight exhibition contests. Tied for second on the team in scoring with 7.8 points per game. Added 2.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Posted four double figure games including season best 13 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists against Washington College (Mar. 19).

Was a four-year varsity basketball player playing his first three years at Dunbar and his senior year at New Era Academy...Named DMVelite All-Maryland honorable mention after posting 17.4 points per game, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game--all team-highs--as a senior while leading the Jaguars to the quarterfinals of the 2020 MPSSAA Boys Basketball 2A State Championship...Earned a place on the 2019-20 Governors Challenge All-Tournament Team...Posted 14.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.6 steals and reached the Round of 16 in the 2019 MPSSAA Boys Basketball 1A State Championship as a junior...Won the 2018 1A State Championship while averaging 13.5 points, 6.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game...Had 9.4 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.7 steals as a freshman and made the Round of 16 in the 2017 MPSSAA Boys Basketball 2A State Championship.
