Tom Reed became the Bryn Athyn Men’s Assistant Coach for the 2021 season. Prior to his arrival at BAC, Reed spent the previous 10 years coaching high school and establishing a youth program to help grow his program and the game.
Before coaching at Bryn Athyn, Reed coached at his alma mater, Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, in the highly competitive Philadelphia Catholic League. After being an assistant for 8 seasons, Reed became the head coach at CEC and led a building process emphasizing a positive culture on and off the field, as well as and a competitiveness on the field.
During Reed's time as the Head Coach the Eagles doubled the number of program wins CEC had before he took over. He had 2 all-conference selections in that season. Before the 2020 season was canceled, the Eagles went 3-0 in scrimmages they lost the previous season and were poised for what was anticipated to be a successful season.
In addition to coaching Conwell-Egan, Reed also started a youth program called Eagles Lacrosse for the local parochial schools designed to help grow the game of lacrosse and introduce it to prospective players at a younger age.
Reed attended Gwynedd-Mercy College where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 2012.
