Towsen, Md.- The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team dropped 9-0 on the road against Goucher College.
At first doubles, Beth Earle and Kateryna Grafska dropped 8-2 in a hard fought match. At the No. 2 spot, Megan Reinprecht and Holly Adams fell 8-1, while Emily Ball and Michaela Boyesen lost 8-0 at the third doubles slot.
Earle and Grafska dropped 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 and No. 2 slots. At third singles, Adams fell 6-1, 6-1. At the fifth and sixth single spots, Katrina Hughes and Palesa Mphatse both fell 6-0, 6-0.
Head Coach Joseph expressed, "With a second match under their belts, the girls have gained more confidence, and now have a better knowledge of the game."
The Lions return home Tuesday, April 17th to face the College of St. Elizabeth. The match is slated for 4:00pm.
