Abington, PA. - The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team fell to PSU-Abington 8-0 on the road in Wednesday afternoon action.
The duo of Holly Adams and Megan Reinprecht battled at first doubles, but fell 8-4. The second doubles team of Katrina Hughes and Palesa Mphatse fell 8-0, while the team of Tori Hallstrom and Nicole Smith lost at third doubes 8-0.
Adams fell at first singles 6-1, 6-3. Reinprecht dropped second singles 6-1, 6-0. Hughes lost at third singles 6-0, 6-1. Smith dropped sixth singles 6-0, 6-0.
The fifth singles match was declared unfinished due to inclement weather.
The Lions return home next Tuesday to host Albright College. The match is set for 4:00 pm.
