Women's Lacrosse Rally Past Lancaster Bible

Lancaster Bible, PA – The Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team topped Lancaster Bible 13-5 on the road in NEAC conference action.

Kaitlyn Brock led the Lions with six goals and two ground balls.  Emma Gross notched three goals and four ground balls.  McKenna Acton scored two goals and four ground ball pick-ups.  Michelle Bedford and Laura Clymer scored goal a piece. 

Bryn Athyn took a commanding lead in the first half, scoring six unanswered goals in the first 9 minutes.  The Chargers scored two back-to-back goals to chip away at the Bryn Athyn lead.  Lions would end the half, scoring with 13 seconds on the clock, to go into halftime with a five goal lead.

The Lions took their offensive power into the second half.  Acton scored in the first three minutes of the half.  Lancaster Bible answered with a goal 50 seconds later.  Bryn Athyn replied with four goals to build their lead to 12-3.  The Chargers would score two goals in the last 10 minutes of the half, but it wasn't enough to catch the Lions. 

Anja Weisser notched 11 saves in net for the Lions.
