Men's and Women's Tennis Falls to Penn College

Doylestown, Pa – The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team fell to Penn College 7-2, Friday afternoon in NEAC conference action.

Nicole Rogan and Tori Hallstrom fell at first doubles 8-1.  Kelsey Kowalick and Natalie Mangoue were lost at second doubles 8-2.  At third doubles, the duo of Eden Zecher and Catherine Kirk battled to a 8-6 lose.

Rogan fell at first singles, 6-1, 6-2.  Sydney Elder won the first set 7-5, but lost the second set 6-4 to push the match to a 10 point third tie breaker. Elder lost the tiebreaker 10-6. At third singles, Hallstrom picked up one of the Lions points 6-2, 6-1.  Manogue lost at fourth singles 6-1, 6-0. Kowalick lost at the fifth spot 6-1, 7-5.  Kirk won at sixth singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Andrew Dexter and Kyle Watter fell at number one doubles, 8-1. Johnny Walker and Philip Brandt lost at second doubles 8-3.  Ray Norfo and Todd Hirsch fell at third doubles 8-5. 

Dexter lost at first singles, 6-0, 6-0.  At No. 2. Watters fell 6-0, 6-1.   Walker lost at third singles, 6-3, 6-0. Phil Brandt battled at third singles, but fell 6-1, 6-2.  Norfo won the first set 6-4, but lost the second 6-1, which pushed the match to a 10 point tiebreak and lost 10-6..  Hirsch fell at 6-0, 6-2 at the sixth spot.
