Box Score 2 Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team defeated PSU Abington 3-1 in the first game of the Saturday afternoon NEAC South Pool Play.
The scores were, 12-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-17. After dropping the first set, the Lions took control of the game and won the next three sets to win the match.
Alexa Kennedy led the Lions with 14 kills, 14 digs and one service ace. Amber Wood had seven kills and two block solos. Taylor Davis had six kills and four block solos. Abi Anderson had 26 assists and 11 digs.
In game two against College of St. Elizabeth, the Lions sweep the Eagles 3-0.
The scores were 25-17, 25-22, 25-3.
Davis put up six kills, five blocks and one service ace. Kennedy notched six kills, five digs and three service aces. Jenii Bauer had career high 10 service aces and 10 digs. Anderson had 16 assists, two digs and two block assists.
The Lions finished the weekend 2-1 in conference play.
