Bryn Athyn Pa - The Bryn Athyn women's lacrosse team hosted Centenary in their second game of the season on Monday afternoon. The Lions loss to Centenary 13-8. 

After falling behind 2-0 early in the first half, the Lions battled back to tie the score 2-2 with goals by Emma Gross, assisted by Sabrina Colbridge, and Jessica Phillip, assisted by Michelle Bedford. The Cyclones answered right away to take a 3-2 lead. The Cyclones held the one goal lead for the next seven minutes, until the Lions Sabrina Colbridge tied the game with an unassisted goal. The Cyclones then scored 6 unanswered goals to close out the half, taking the 9 - 3 lead into halftime.  

The Cyclones started the second half building on their lead with two more goals, making the score 11-3. The Lions then battled back scoring three unanswered goals by Emma Gross, Michelle Bedford and Sabrina Colbridge. The Lions battled through the half to cut into the Cyclones lead. Two more goals by the Lion's Sabrina Colbridge and Emma Gross made the final score 13-8. 

The Lion's goalkeeper Anja Weisser played a great game making 8 saves on 21 shots. The Lions were led by Emma Gross and Sabrina Colbridge with three goals a piece. Emma Gross also accumulated nine ground balls. 

The Lions move to 1-1 on the season. The Lions will be back in action on Wednesday March 30th as they travel to take on Bryn Mawr at 4:30 pm.
