GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team was defeated by host Gwynedd Mercy University, 7-0 in a rain-shortened match, Friday afternoon.

The Griffins (2-2) swept all three doubles matches by an 8-0 score.

In singles play, Bryn Athyn (0-2) number one Marie Daum and number three Alair Brock both suffered 8-1 losses. Sierra Heinrichs's number five match and Anwyn Brock's match at number six were both halted by rain.

Bryn Athyn hosts Eastern in its first home match of the season on Tuesday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m.
