Lions upended by Cairn in CSAC competition

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) to Cairn University on the Gladish Tennis Courts Saturday afternoon.

Christine Daum earned the Lions' lone point by picking up a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Maya Neal at No. 3 singles. Daum improved her singles record to a team-best 4-2.

Bryn Athyn is now 2-6 overall and 2-2 in CSAC play. Cairn moves its record to 6-3 overall and 4-1 against conference competition.

The Lions will travel to Cedar Crest for a rescheduled CSAC match against the conference-leading Falcons on Tuesday, April 16 at 3 p.m.
