BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The Gormley sisters combined for all four goals for the Lions, but it was not enough against the fast paced Owls of Bryn Mawr. The Lions lost 15-4 in their opener.

- Shea Gormley got the Lions on the board first with an early goal off an assist from sister Payton less than a minute into the game
- Bryn Mawr went onto to score five unasnwered goals closing the first quarter with a 3-1 lead and opened the second quarter with two more
- Payton Gormley got on the board with a little over five minutes left in the second frame to make it 5-2
- Bryn Mawr would go onto score another 5 unanswered goals before Gormley scored right before the buzzer to send the halftime score to 10-3 in the favor of the visitors.
- The Lions would shape out their defense for the second half, but failed to get more than one goal and the Lions would fall 15-4 on the day.
