ABINGTON, Pa. - The men's basketball team fell short on the road on Tuesday, losing to Penn State Abington 77-66.

Inside the Box Score

Jalen Jackson led the way with 24 points (on an efficient 9-14 shooting), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 3-pointers made.
Jalen Parker was just short of a double-double, adding 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Montrell Horsey had a well-rounded evening with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

How it Happened

Bryn Athyn took control early with a 15-5 run to open the game.
Abington countered with its own 9-0 run to cut the lead down to one.
One-fourth of the game later, and the score was still ostensibly 0-0.
The second "quarter" was much more favorable to the red Lions, who rebuilt a double-digit lead with great shot-making.
BAC would lead 35-25 at half.
Lions would continue to hold onto the lead early into the second period, leading by 11 with 15 minutes to go.
However, their defense faltered and their offense cratered late. The Nittany Lions went on a 22-9 run for the next eight minutes to not only make it a game again, but even take the lead.
Bryn Athyn fell apart after that, eventually conceding to Abington 77-66.

Lions' hot shooting start to the season finally cooled off, as they shot just 21.1% from three on Tuesday.
