How it happened
- The Lions came out roaring with a 14-7 run to open up the game.
- Jackson and Carson did some heavy lifting to keep the Lions afloat.
- Bryn Athyn would hold a 10 point lead halfway through the first half; 24-14.
- Gettysburg cut the difference to 31-27 going into halftime.
- A three by Jakir Hampton and lay-up by Parker appeared to show the lions still on the attack.
- Gettysburg then went on a 13-7 run to take the lead 45-43 right around the fourteen minute mark.
- And-1 layup and FT conversion by Jackson would give Bryn back the lead.
- Both teams continued to trade buckets as Gettysburg refused to go away.
- With a minute left; the visitors scored a layup to force the game to overtime.
- In overtime the Lions were gassed subsequently going 2-8 from the field while Gettysburg went 100% which was the difference maker.
- Gettysburg went on to win; 77-72.
