Cregger Invitational unkind to Men's Basketball

SALEM, Va. - Bryn Athyn Men's Basketball team went into the Cregger Invitational on a three game win streak and looking to make some noise against nationally relevant programs in Roanoke College, Maryville College, and Susquehanna University. Unfortunately, the Lions went away with two blowout losses.

Coach's Corner
"I thought this was such a humbling weekend for our program. It shows we still have a ways to go as a team. We need to respond to adversity better and show more grit. We were not prepared for the 1-3-1 this weekend, and that is on the staff. I know we will be better. We must continute to develop our trust and connection. We have a little break before returning to the practice court to prepare for our last 12 conference games."

Notes
  • Lions are 5-8 and finish the non-confernece slate at 2-7
  • Jakir Hampton was named to the All-Tournament Team
  • Hampton stands 16 points shy of 1000 career points
  • Lions saw their program best offensive FG% streak snapped at 7 games after failing to shoot over 46% in the 12/30 matchup against Susquehanna.
