Men's Basketball defeat Penn State Brandywine

MEDIA, Pa. - The men's basketball team excelled on the road despite being undermanned, defeating Penn State Brandywine 79-62.  

Inside the Box Score
  • Isaac Marshall was potent with 21 points (6-9 shooting) and 6 rebounds.
  • Will Little could not be stopped, pouring in 21 points (on 6-10 shooting) and 4 rebounds.
  • Keith Bullock Jr.provided an offensive spark en route to 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. 
  • Jalen Jackson flirted with a double-double snagging 12 rebounds while adding 9 points. 
How it Happened
  • Both Lions teams came into the game with a must win mentality
  • Through the first 10 minutes; both team scored at will and were tied at 13.
  • Penn State Bradywine tried to pull away with a couple made 3s and layups.
  • The visiting Lions showed some resiliency with their own offensive attack.
  • The game was tied again at 22 with 5 minutes remaining in the half.
  • Bryn Aythn proceeded to go on the offensive attack to close the quarter on a 16-2 run to close the half. .  
  • Out of the break, the home team came out with vengeance and cut the lead to 8 within the first four minutes of the half. 
  • That's when the Bryn Athyn lions stepped on the gas with sound offensive execution and no defensive letup, they quickly pushed the lead back to as much as 17. 
  • Despite the Nitty Lions spermatically scoring; the visitor Lions would hold on to win by 17; 79-62

  • "This was a culture win. We've been focusing on what it means to be a Bryn Athyn basketball member as individuals and the collective. While we certainly aren't satisfied, we won the days leading up to the game and that resulted in our process winning Saturday. We continue the hunt on winning the day Monday as we prep for a very tough Salisbury team" -  Head Coach Sean Westerlund

  • Bryn Ahtyn's becnh scored a season high 36 points outscoring their opponents by 29.
  • BAC is now 3-6.
