- The teams traded baskets for most of the first half, coming to the 9:30-minute mark with Bryn Athyn leading 17-16.
- The the Patriots and Lions both refused to go away without a fight as they continued to exchange buckets.Â
- Bryn Athyn went on a 7-2 run in the remaining three minutes to take the lead 33-28 going into halftime.
- Out of halftime; the Patriots would respond and ultimately take a commanding 3-point lead with a little over thirteen minutes remaining.Â
- Over the next seven minutes the Lions would turn up their defensive presence and offensive prowess by going on a 24-5 run.
- Down 18 with a little over five minutes left; Valley Forge struggled to get constant stops on the defensive end.
- Ultimately, Bryn Athyn's pace and balanced attack were too much to overcome.
- The Lions would go on to win 83-66.
