Men's Basketball make history with win over Rosemont

10 straight wins for MBB for first time in program history

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The men's basketball team had a plan and executed it in a win against visiting Rosemont Ravens; 70-59. For the first time in prorgam history the Lions have won 10 consecutive games.

  • Jalen Jackson was everywhere he needed to be on his way to 13 points, 9 steals(program record), and 6 rebounds.
  • Jakir Hampton contributed 13 points and 5 rebounds
  • Will Little was his usual self adding 13 points of his own. 
  • Keith Bullock Jr. facilitated well with 9 points and 6 assists. 
  • Jalen Parker flirted with a double-double adding 9 points and 8 rebounds.  
How it Happened
  • Lions were deliberate in their approach, attacking the rim with whoever got a sliver of daylight.
  • Bryn Athyn opened up with a 11-2 lead to set the tone early. 
  • Around the halfway mark; the Ravens were able to cut the lead to just 4.
  • The Lions proceeded to turn the pressure back up and pushing the lead to 15 going into half time. 
  • Out of halftime; Rosemont began to chip away and found themselves down 7 with a little over eleven minutes remaining. 
  • Bryn Athyn would respond by forcing turnovers and converting easy transition buckets.
  • The Lions led by 21 with a little under five minutes remaining. 
  • With time and score on their side; the Lions went on to win 70-59.
