Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa.- The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team topped Wilson 66-35 in Thursday night action, improving their overall record to 3-1.
Bianca Feliciano led the Lions with 16 points, seven steals and three rebounds. Hajaaha Stevens finished with 14 points, and nine rebounds. Taylor Davis collected ten rebounds and two blocks, while Kristina Clark recorded 15 points and six rebounds.
During the first half, the Lions took a 42-23 lead. Feliciano led the team with 12 points, three assists, four steals and three rebounds. Stevens added nine points, four rebounds, two steals, and block. Clark recorded eight points, five rebounds, and two steals. At 5:17 Clark went coast to coast for a three-point play, giving the Lions their first nine-point lead of the half. The Phoenix would not regain a lead for the remainder of the game.
In the second half, the Lions collected 24 more points to their total and shot 10 for 33 from the field.
Bryn Athyn collected 48 rebounds to Wilson's 30.
Head Coach Kayla Felty expressed, "I am happy that we are on a three game winning streak, and looking to get number four against PSU- Abington next Tuesday. We performed better in the second half and I feel that everyone contributed."
Bianca Feliciano added, "It felt like it took a little to get into the groove, but once we did we began to click more and shots began to fall. We look to prepare for PSU-Abington by continuing to stay conditioned and work on our open shots."
The Lions head on the road Tuesday, December 10th to face Penn St. Abington. The game is slated for 6:00pm.
