Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team attempted to extend their four game win streak to five in Monday night action against the visiting Cairn.
Each player on the Lions scored in tonight's matchup. Hajaaha Stevens led the Lions with a double-double 21 points and 15 rebounds. Je'la Watson contributed 13 points and Kristina Clark added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
In the first, the Lions shot a 50% field goal percentage and put up 44 points to Cairn's 14. They marched into the half with a dominating 30-point lead.
The Lions sealed the deal in the second putting up another 40 points. The Lions shot 45% from the field and collected 71 rebounds to Cairn's 36 in the contest. The Lions picked up an 84-34 win to extend their winning streak to five games.
Head Women's Basketball Coach Kayla Felty expressed, "We are very pleased with the way our team is meshing right now. We set goals for our team before the game and achieved every one of them. We are looking to keep our winning streak going and improve every game. Everyone contributed tonight, which is always a win in our book."
Stevens added, " I'm proud of the effort that every one put in tonight we played an awesome game and we look to extend our winning streak."
Coach Felty and her team return to action on Thursday, January 30th against Valley Forge Christian. The game is slated for 7:00pm.
