Phoenixville, PA . – The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team defeated Valley Forge Christian College, 75-35, in Thursday night action.

Kristina Clark led the Lions with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Hajaaha Stevens scored 16 points off the bench and pulled back eight rebounds. Brittany Vick scored 16 points and three rebounds.

Bryn Athyn out rebounded the Patriots 49-39. Scored 21 points of second chance points and 36 points in the paint.

Clark went on an 8-0 run in the first three minutes of the game to take the lead.  VFCC brought the game within three off a 5-0 run with 12:30 left in the first.  The Patriots kept the game within five points, 23-18, till 6:29 left in the first. The Lions would go on a 17-0 run to go into the break leading 40-18. 

 The Lion kept the offensive pressure into the second half. Stevens led the Lions with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Bryn Athyn would build their lead as high as 40 points. The Lions won the game 75-35.

Bryn Athyn will head on the road to face Christendom College this weekend at 1:0o pm.
