Box Score Abington, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team fell to PSU Abington, 76-49 in NEAC conference action Sunday afternoon.
Syndey LaBat led the Lions with 10 points and four rebounds. Je'la Watson put up 10 points. Tiera McFadden led the defense with nine rebounds and two steals. Kristina Clark scored nine points and pulled back three rebounds.
The Nittany Lions made the first bucket, after the Lions missed a three pointer to start the game. Bryn Athyn tied the game at 3-3 at 15:55, after LaBat made a lay up and converted the foul shot. Both team battled to retie the game at 7-7 after Clark made a three pointer at 14:03. But PSU Abington went on a 21-2 run to build their commanding lead to 24-9. The Nittany Lions would go into halftime with a 40-18 lead.
PSU Abington kept their offensive pressure in the second half and led the Lions as high as 33 points. Watson scored her 10 points in the second half for Bryn Athyn. Kattie Cox and Clark scored six points each. Bryn Athyn caused eight turnovers and kept PSU Abington to only six.
