Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball fell to SUNY Poly 54-46 in NEAC conference action Sunday morning.
Kristina Clark led the Lions with a double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Brittany Vick scored nine points and one rebound. Bianca Feliciano scored eight points and two rebounds. Taylor Davis pulled back 10 rebounds and had four blocks.
Bryn Athyn went on a quick 7-2 run in the first four minutes of the game. Wildcats took their first lead with a 7-0 run, 9-7 at 14:12. After tying the game at 9-9, Poly went to control the game and keep their lead till Feliciano hit a three pointer to retake the Lion lead at 6:21, 15-14. The Wildcats would regain the lead and go into the break up 23-19.
The Lions came back in the second regaining the lead at 16:18 off a three by Vick, 28-25. But Poly came back with a strong defensive stance and held the Lions at 28 points to take a 36-28 lead with 13:07 left in the game. Bryn Athyn battled their way back to stay within Poly by two points twice till the Lions tied the game at 44-44 with Clark draining two free throws. The Wildcats held the Lions two points in the remainder of the game and won 54-46.
