Lions fall to Lancaster Bible 77-44

Bryn Athyn Pa. - The womens basketball team hosted Lancaster Bible on Wednesday night at Asplundh Field House. The Lions fell to the Chargers 89-69 in NEAC action.

Two three pointers in the opening minutes of the first quarter by Bianca Feliciano gave the Lions the lead 10-4. The Chargers then went on a 16 point run to make the score 20-10 with 2:04 left. The Chargers would go on to outscore the Lions 24-15 in the quarter. 

The Lions would be able to cut the lead to nine at the 6:06 mark of the second after another Bianca Felciano three pointer. Robin McClinek got the Lions to within seven a few minutes later. The Chargers then outscored the Lions 8-4 to close out the half. The score going into the half had the Lions down 37-26. 

In the third the Lions could not cut into the Chargers lead and were outscored 27-4. Aubrey Folger scored her 2,000 career point for Lancaster Bible in this quarter. Aubrey scored a game high 33 points in the game. 

In the fourth the Lions ourscored the Chargers 14-13, but could not overcome the huge deficit and fell to the Chargers 77-44. 

The Lions were led by Kristina Clark with 14 points. Bianca Feliciano had 13 points and shot 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. The Lions move to 11-5 in the NEAC and are in second place in the NEAC South Division. 

The Lions are back in action this Saturday as they host Morrisville State at 3:00 pm at Asplundh Field House.
