Box Score ASTON, Pa. – Clayshonia Cogmon recorded a team-high 11 points, nine rebounds, and three steals for the Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team as the Lions wrapped up their weekend at the Neumann Tip-Off Tournament with a 64-41 loss to Penn State Brandywine in the consolation game Sunday afternoon.

After Cogman gave the Lions a 4-3 advantage with a layup at the 7:23 mark of the first quarter, Brandywine ran off eight of the game's next nine points to lay claim to an 11-5 lead. Bryn Athyn bounced back with six straight points, capped by an Allie Warren 3-pointer with 1:12 left in the quarter to tie the score at 11.
Brandi James drained a free throw at the tail end of the first quarter to give the Nittany Lions a 12-11 lead after one.
An 8-1 run to start the second quarter widened the Brandywine cushion to 20-12. Morgan Phillips connected on a 3-pointer with 6:33 before halftime to pull Bryn Athyn within 22-17. Eight consecutive Brandywine points allowed the Nittany Lions to extend the cushion to a half-high 13 points (30-17) with 3:23 to play in the half. Bryn Athyn went into the locker room down only nine, 30-21.
Six straight points during the middle stages of the third quarter got the Lions as close as eight (35-27) on a Sanders jumper. It would be as close as Bryn Athyn would get as Brandywine would record the next six points to regain a 14-point cushion. The gap remained in double figures the rest of the way.
