BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – After waiting 67 games for its first NCAA shutout, the Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team now has two in the last three games as McKenzie Chalmers stopped 14 shots and Zach Pamaylaon had two goals and one assist in a 4-0 Senior Night victory over King's (Pa.) College) Saturday in Junge Pavilion.

Before the opening faceoff, head coach Andrew Burke and the ice hockey team honored seniors Alex Tan, Vojtech Luza, Eric Higgins, and Nikita Smirnov who all played their final game in Junge Pavilion.

Once the game got underway, Bryn Athyn (11-9-3) spent a majority of the night in the King's (2-18-1) zone, firing 44 shots at Monarch goaltender Tyler Sayger.

Pamaylaon broke the scoreless deadlock with his first goal of the night at the 11:27 mark of the first period with a shot from the low slot. Tan and Luza each assisted on the eventual game-winning goal.

Sheldon Brett was responsible for the scoring in the second, recording his third goal of the year 5:53 into the second stanza with assists from Tyler Besner and Pamaylaon.

MacKenzie MacDonald notched his first collegiate goal as he beat a screened Sayger with a slap-shot from the high slot just 2:48 into the final period. Higgins and Besner were credited with assists on the play.

Pamaylaon completed his three-point evening at 14:24 to increase the advantage to four. Tan and Luza assisted on Pamaylaon's sixth goal of the campaign.

Bryn Athyn closes out the 2019-20 season with a weekend series at SUNY Canton, starting on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
