Box Score BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team has had to remain flexible with schedule postponements. The Lions had two critical matchups against Valley Forge and Saint Elizabeth. The team came out victorious in both matchups.
Matchup 1 - Bryn Athyn 65 Valley Forge 59
This game was flexed into the schedule due to COVID pauses within the conference. With 24 hours notice, the women adapted and came to play. Valley Forge jumped out to a 19-10 lead in the first, but Bryn Athyn answered back in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 2 at halftime. The two teams played even in the third frame. The Lions would pull away thanks to outscoring the Patriots 21-13.
The Lions had great individual efforts from freshman guard
Norma Thornhill who logged 19 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Junior Terrae Lewis added 14 points and 10 boards.
Matchup 2 - Bryn Athyn 72 Saint Elizabeth 39
In a rescheduled postponement, The Lions came out and blitzed the Eagles. The defense was stifling holding Saint Elizabeth to 23% from the field and forced 27 turnovers. Freshman
Reilly Ward dropped 17 points on five three pointers. Thornhill continued her strong play with 14 points and 8 assists.

- With the two wins the Lions improve to 4-7 and 3-4 in conference
