CENTER VALLEY, Pa - Three members of the cross country program ran in the NCAA Metro Region Championship meet at Desales University yesterday. 

The top seven finishers automatically qualify for the NCAA Championship Meet in Lansing Michigan later in November.

Trio of sophomores, Rafe and Declan Williams and Ciara Kiely represented Bryn Athyn in the race. 

Rafe Williams finished 85th with a time of 23:28 in the 8k. His 85th place finish is the best in program history at the Regional Championship. Declan Williams finished the course with a time of  26:23 which was good for a 147th place finish. There were over 175 runners in the field. 

Men's Results

Ciara Kiely, the lone women's runner from Bryn Athyn, finished 110th with a time of 22:03 which is the highest finish from a Bryn Athyn women's runner in program history for a region championship meet. There were 170 runners in the women's field.

This meet concludes the cross country season for the Lions and they will be back in action next fall.
