BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College men's cross country runner Tanner Congdon claimed victory in a home dual race against Rosemont College held on the Bryn Athyn campus Wednesday afternoon.
Congdon—the team's top runner for the fourth time this season—completed the 4-kilometer course in a winning time of 16 minutes, 06.00 seconds—16 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
Trevor Kleckner came in fourth place with a time of 16:51.10, while teammate Isaac Syre was three seconds back in fifth (16:54.30). Justin Rallo was the ninth-place finisher with a time of 19:15.09. Azel Olivares was Bryn Athyn's final scorer after recording the 10th-place time of 19:18.50. Bennett Buick rounded out the lineup with a time of 24:56.04 to take 12th.
Rosemont won team scoring with a score of 26, while Bryn Athyn posted a 29.
Bryn Athyn will host the Colonial States Athletic Conference Preview Race on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
