Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team faced (2-3) Swarthmore, for their inaugural home game at the Asplundh Field House, Saturday afternoon. 

Christian Rivera led the Lion's with 14 points and seven total rebounds. Stephan Johnson added 11 points for the Lion's effort. 

The Lion's started the first half leading 8-4 and led most of the first half. With eight minutes left in the first, the Garnets took the lead 21-20 and the Lions would not regain the lead for the rest of half. Going into the locker room the score was 34-21.    

Jeff Seigafuse added some energy in the second half collecting two steals and causing four turnovers in the first five minutes. Lions came within eight of the Garnets with 9:32 left in the half. The Garnets started to shoot hot from behind the arc extending their lead. The Lion's fought back, but it would not be enough to combat the difference; the Lion's eventually fell 72-57. 

The Lion's return back to action, at home, next Saturday to face SUNY-ESF at 4:00 pm.
