Box Score Eastern, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team fell on the road to Eastern University 94-67 in non conference action Monday night.
Stepehen Johnson led the Lions with 19 points, and seven rebounds. Deion Boyer put up nine points and pulled back five rebounds. Joseph Kehoe and Devante Laws scored seven points each.
The Eagles took control of the game in the first five minutes taking a 6-1 lead of two three pointers. Lions made two back to back lay ups to bring the game within one. Eastern increased their presence in the defensive end, picked up loose rebounds and converted them in the offensive end rebuild their lead to seven with 13:07 left in the first half. The Eagles kept their offensive pressure to build their lead to 17 heading into the half.
The Lions took advantage on Eagles fouls and brought the game within 12 with 15:09 in the second. Eastern attacked the boards and pulled back rebounds to build their lead to 22 points with 6:05 left in the game. The Eagles would keep the Lions at bay and win the game 94-67.
Bryn Athyn head back on the road this Wednesday to take on Delaware Valley College at 7:00 pm.
