Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team defeated Keuka College, 74-51 in NEAC conference play Sunday afternoon.
Deion Boyer had a career high 23 points, he went 5-8 from the field and 2-3 from the three point line. Joseph Kehoe scored 16 points, going 4-9 from the arc. Troy Steed put up 10 points and pulled back five rebounds. The Lions went 42 percent from the field and 44 percent from the three-point line.
The Lions took command of the game early, setting a 5-1 lead from a three pointer by Kehoe and two free throws. With a 15-7 lead at 12:53, The Lions went on a 13-0 , till the Wolfpack hit at three at 9:16. Bryn Athyn kept Keuka in single digits for the first 11 minutes of the game. The Lions didn't let down their offensive pressure, building their lead to 28 point at halftime, 48-20.
Steed scored for the Lions to start the second and built their lead to a game high 30 points at 17:30. Keuka went on a 7-0 run for the next four minutes to chip away at the Bryn Athyn lead, 55-29 at 13:15. Bryn Athyn came back with a 6-0 run of their own to rebuild their lead. The Lions would keep their lead and win the game 74-51. Boyer scored seven points in the half, James Flagg put up six points off the bench and pulled back four rebounds. Steed had five rebounds and four rebounds.
